Gravel Ridge, Arkansas Speed Traps

County cops sit at the bottom of a half mile of straight as an arrow 12% grade. Speed limit 40. You have to grind your brakes to keep it under 60. No side traffic possible, no houses, no nothing, and the only obstruction is the tree they hide behind. Lots of warning headlight flashes from other drivers have almost put this one out of business.

Sherwood police sit in the lot of the vacant building just as you come into Gravel Ridge (on the right) & sit in the car wash a little further down the road (on the left). The speed limit goes from 60 at Brockington Rd to 45 entering Gravel Ridge. (State Highway 107 at Gravel Ridge)
