Greenland, Arkansas Speed Traps

Greenland is basically a wide spot in the road and the perfect storm for citations. Hiway signs start with "reduce speed" and rapidly introduce 45 MPH limits

One officer with radar parked in shopping center parking lot in an area of the Main drag having 4 lanes. He radios ahead to a waiting officer, who pulls out behind you. Second officer claims to have locked you on radar at an excessive speed, when it was the first officer. I was clocked 13 miles over the limit by the first officer, parked on the left side of the highway, while I was trying to pass 4 motorcycles who were travelling in the inside lane. I was in the outside lane. The officer targeted me on radar somehow with them between me and the radar gun. By the time I reached the second officer, I had concluded that the first officer was not going to pursue and I had slowed down under the speed limit. I admit I was over the limit, but not by 13 mph. My speedometer showed me at 52 in a 45 mile zone.

Cop is there 90% of time. He sits in the weeds under a tree next to the wrecking yard. The traffic comes around a big curve going 55+ and then the limit hits. Very bad for out of town folks.
