Haskell, Arkansas Speed Traps

The small town of Haskell has extended city limits. From the intersection of US Hwy. 67 and State Hwy 229 all the way to the other side of Haskell on 229 the speed limits (which vary from 40 to 35 to 30 to 25 in a school zone) areenforced all hours of the day.

The highway itself is a speed trap. It goes from 40mph to 35mph to 30mph in a half a mile. If you get caught going over the speed limit and the cop doesn’t recognize your car he will pull you over. I used to live there and it was the biggest hassle. Don’t even do 2 over the limit you will get pulled over!
