Pocahantas, Arkansas Speed Traps

The city of Pocahantas Arkansas is starving for money due to the high cost of fuel. Just recently the county tried passing a one cent sales tax to cover cost. It failed. It came straight from one of the patrol officers mouth that the chief of police said to start nailing people any way they can. The Black River brigde is a speed trap hotspot. Also when you are issued a citation it will be written up as careless and inattentive driving. This allows all the money collected to go straight to the city police department instead of the county of Randolph. They also tell the drivers that if its written up as inattentive driving that it will not go on your driving record. What a scam.
