Waldron, Arkansas Speed Traps

State police will stop you from 10 miles north of Waldron all the way to south of Waldron to Y City. Then they are from Y City on 270 West to the Montgomey County Line. I know, been stopped at 61 on down hill slopes, and I still can’t figure out where they were hiding.

Maintain a 55mph going down hills. A State Trooper will ticket for 62mph.

Officers sit at the schools and in the surrounding parking lots. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 in a quater mile. At a railroad crossing. Also watch the bridges they have been known to hide in the over growth.

No ticket issued. Stopped for 61 in a 55 said they were looking for DWI and we were in a vehicle used mostly by young people, We are senior citizens. They didn’t even ask for DL when they ( 2 officers) saw we were not young people.
