Delta, British Columbia Speed Traps
State Highway 99 near Exit Number 28
RCMP like to set up on northbound 99 just before the tunnel on the left shoulder near exit 28. Speed limit drops from 100 km/h to 80 km/h and drivers are often caught out by this speed zone.
US Highway Hwy 91 near 64th Avenue
Marked or Unmarked Crown Vic//Intrepid often parked on the side of Hwy 91 northbound, before Alex Fraser Bridge, between 64th Ave and 72nd Ave overpasses. Speed limit is 90km/h; average left lane traffic at 110km/h. Sometimes they wait on the overpass and get your speed from behind.
Hwy 91
Always just past the Nordel overpass before the Alex Fraser Bridge heading northbound…the overpass and burm thereafter act as a very good foil also I’ve seen them southbound just past the overpass as well…once again the overpass due to the decline of the bridge acts as a perfect cover and there hit you as you reach the bottom of the deck…good luck
Hwy 99
RCMP Highway Patrol station themselves in the median of Hwy 99 before the Tunnel, just under the Hwy 17 overpass. Police usually park 2 cars in the un-used counterflow lane and target drivers heading Northbound (into Vancouver) from White Rock.
