RCMP radar set up with car hidden on left side of Island Parkway just as it widens for Cedar road and right exit to Island Hwy to Ladysmith.
Half way up long hill of Island Highway at exit to Duke PT.
RCMP use 2-3 cars right at exit in south bound lane up long hill of Island Hwy, catches cars coming round bend of Island Parkway and cars coming up the south Nanimo Island Hwy.
Rutherford Road near Kenwill Drive
A popular location for a speed trap. Police often catch drivers traveling north along the top of Rutherford Road.
Island Hwy/Dorman Rd
Police sit at Dorman rd catching southbound traffic along the island hwy right across from the Nanaimo Golf Course. Sometimes just a single car running radar or a bunch of em running laser.
Nanaimo Parkway near Emergency Turnaround
Police can catch you headed both North and South bound. Located on a straight stretch closer to the South Gate area of Nanaimo. Police use the tree cover in the median or side of the South bound lane after you come out of the S-turns.
