Elk Lake Dr.

Cops were set up on the gravel parking lot across from the entrance to Beaver Lake Park and of course because it’s a long straight away with a 50km/h limit there’s money to be made there.

McKenzie Ave & Braefoot (down the hill)

Cops either use the tree at the McKenzie / Braefoot intersection (they hide behind it) or they hide in the church. I’ve seen them multiple times with multiple motorcycles.

If you are heading up the hill, I’ve seen them once, but haven’t spotted any cars (I always give a good look around since it’s in my best interest to learn this stuff) so it’s likely that they were teaching a new cop how to use radar and not actually a speed trap.

Quadra St. (Near Hwy. 17/Blanshard St.)

Behind the church near the Chatterton Way & Quadra St. intersection. Not the church on Chatterton Way, but the one directly on Quadra St.
