Arleta, California Speed Traps

When you come near the curve where the speed limit is 35mph going towards Van Nuys Bld, there is a motocycle right in the corner hidding on Lassen St ? it converts to Filmore crossing Woodman st. Be careful they are almost every morning!

Heading west on Nordhoff coming from Woodman Ave. there are usually 1-2 cop cars parked on the right side pulling people over. The street is really wide and suggests a safe place for moderately higher speeds than the posted 35 mph.

Awaits further North on Arleta just above Paxton, on West bound side of street. Waits for motorists to roll through stop signs on both corners. Don’t see him until it’s too late.

Right in front of the hospital on San Fernando Rd. a couple of motorcycle cops make their living exploiting the unrealistic speed limit. To top it of, I’ve noticed that they take long breaks at a close by diner. I’m glad my mom convinced me to become a nurse instead of a cop!
