Motorcycle PD sets hidden in bushes just North of Las Posas to get traffic going South on W. Loop. It is close to impossible to go the 25 MPH speed limit on the downhill street..you have to almost brake the whole time!

Pleasant Valley Road near Lewis Road

Motorcycle cop sits at intersection of Lewis Road and Pleasant Valley waiting to catch speeders traveling east/west on Pleasant Valley. Speed limit on this street is 50 mph, but drivers often travel 60-70 mph on this road. I have seen an officer there several times between 5 pm to 8pm; Will pull over more than one car at a time.

Lewis Road near Barry Street

Camarillo, CaliforniaJan 22, 20081 Comments

A motorcycle cop sits in the parking lot of the El Tecolote restaurant to catch drivers going both directions on Lewis Road. The speed limit there is 40 MPH. Just North of the Lewis/Barry intersection at the Lewis/Temple intersection, the speed changes between 40 MPH and 50MPH so he can catch people coming south who haven’t slowed down and people going north who increased their speed too soon. The motorcycle cop is seen there most often at the morning and noon rush hours.

Motorcycle officer will generally park in the fire station on the corner of Santa Rosa and Woodcreek. I’ve seen the officers ticket people for both speeding and red light violations.

Motorcycle cop sits on side residential road and tickets often. I’ve seen him on Fridays, the only morning I drive this road, and got a ticket for 10 mph over the limit.
