CHP units hide on the top of the Southbound on ramp. They are obstructed from the passing cars view by a row of large trees. The speed limit on the freeway in this area is 65MPH, but most travel at 75-80 in the evening hours. I am a 30+ year resident of Camarillo. I seen almost all of them in town and the list on this site is a short one when interesction violation enforecment traps are added.

5th Street near Los Posas Road

Camarillo, CaliforniaMay 13, 20050 Comments

CHP units hide behind the wind break trees for the farm fields on the south side of fifth street just before (east bound) and after (west bound) the Los Posas Rd intersection. Limit is 50MPH. Used to be 55MPH. Most base traffic travels quicker than that. Nasty stretch for passing lane violations as well given cars contend with farm equipment traffic in the sale areas where there are lots of lane control changs leading up to the area in question.
