CHP is operating a southbound speed trap with multiple officers from the Molera Road overpass. They use radar from the bridge to trap drivers as they sort out the the joining of Highway 1 and the frustrating slower Highway 168 from Prunedale. The road opens to three lanes, which encourages folks to increase speed towards Monterey.
