Chino Hills, California Speed Traps
Chino Hills Parkway near Chino Avenue
Motorcycle cops usually sit on the curves or firelane driveways that go into the hills just south of Chino Ave on Chino Hills Parkway. They monitor both sides of traffic and it is hard to not get caught once you are speeding and have them in view.
Chino Hills Parkway near Walnut Creek Street
Motorcycle cop hides in side street, waiting for speeders coming down hill. Top of hill speed limit is 60mph then becomes 50mph.
Peyton Avenue near Chino Avenue
Officer parks Motorcycle on the side street (by apartments on the left) as your going south on Peyton after crossing Chino Ave heading towards Grand Ave. Because your going downhill , your speed automatically increases and if you’re 10 miles over the speed limit, they’re waiting for you, one after another. Been ticketed and warned. Big time Speed Trap.
Grand Avenue near Pacific Avenue
The Cop sits on his motor cycle back in the landscape on the south east corner of Grand Ave and Pacific Ave. He uses a radar gun. I have not been ticketed but I see him there often. Even though I know he is there he is hard to see until you are almost upon him. He sits back in the trees and bushes on the grass.
Carbon Canyon Road near Fire Station
Motorcycle cop’s sit at corner to radar traffic coming down hill headed towards City of Brea from Chino Hills. You can’t see them till it’s too late. Always there week days from 11:00am – 12:00 noon.
