Chino Hills, California Speed Traps
State Highway 71 near Soquel Canyon Road
CHP and I were the only cars on the highway at 2am. I figured I was the only car on the road, so I was going 90 mi./hr. without even realizing it…apparently I was not the only one there!
Peyton Drive near Chino Avenue
Motorcycle cops frequently park on Skyview Ridge (just before the Albertsons-anchored shopping center) to monitor northbound traffic on Peyton Ave. Due to the curvature of Peyton, it’s difficult to determine if a cop is on Skyview or not from afar. When I’ve seen one, it’s usually around 10AM.
Pipeline Avenue near 71 Expressway
Northbound speed trap on Pipeline Ave in Chino hills between Chino Hills Parkway and where Pipeline turns into Eucalyptus.
Bird Farm Road near Romona Avenue
As you head south bound on Romona approaching Bird Farm Rd. I have noticed on numerous times a white S.B. sheriff cruiser waiting up the dirt road for speeders approaching his direction. He blends in well near a house and dried shrub. Also becareful East bound on Bird Farm Rd. approaching Yorba,There is a motorcycle officer that sits on the sidewalk with radar.
Pipeline Avenue near State Highway 71
Officer on motorcycle hides in the shade on the right side of the road as you approach the freeway from the intersection of Chino Hills Pkwy and Pipeline.
