Chula Vista, California Speed Traps

The stop light on National City Blvd. has a “No Turn” on red sign. I made a careless decision to make a right turn early in the morning which ended up being a costly ticket of around $300. Don’t think like I did that there’s no NC cops cruising the area early in the morning. Learn from my costly mistake. Beware!

Highway patrol motorcycles set up on the southbound side waiting for speeders to fly by the STOP sign on Nacion.
They are able to catch traffic going thru STOP signs on the north & south sign because of the three way stop sign.

The California Highwayway Patrol is very aggressive on this stretch of freeway. On the southbound of I-805 there is heavy enforcement, always in the a.m. hours as the traffic usually travels at high rate of speed during this time. During the afternoon hours the heavy enforcement is focused on the northbound traffic as the southbound slows down with the going home traffic.
I repeat, the Highway patrol is quite aggressive during these hours. At times I have noticed at least three units in a short distance. California needs the revenue don’t be a victim and contributor! Slow down!
