Citrus Heights, California Speed Traps

At this corner, there are often 1 to 4 Citrus Heights PD Motorcycle officers. I go there often because my credit union is on that corner. They says the cops are there almost all the time. I don’t know if it is technically a speed trap but I do know that they give out a lot of tickets at that corner.

CH police sit on Red Maple or Larwin and watch for cars running the stop signs (sometimes they don’t even pretend to slow down).

I’ve seen M/C cops sitting in the entrance to the appartments, watching for rolling stops. Stop at all stop signs on Birdcage St.

At the 4 way stop. Officer hiding behind parked car and watching for rolling stops.

Mostly motorcycle officers (in hiding); heavy coverage in the morning hours. Don’t exceed 40 mph limit!
