Claremont, California Speed Traps
San Jose Avenue near Indian Hill Boulevard
I usually see a motorcycle cop in the mornings hiding at the driveway of the BC Cafe. I got pulled over once myself.
Foothill Boulevard near Town Avenue
Cops hides out on the south side of the street just passing town going east.
Towne Avenue near Interstate 210
I spotted a motorcycle officer backed onto the bicycle path just south of the 210 Freeway on Towne Ave. He was not in view until you past him.
San Jose Avenue near between Mills and College
This street is a normal residential street (no schools, businesses, very little cross traffic) and you would expect the usual 35 mph speed limit but for some reason the city has decided to make it 25 mph, motorcycle officers frequent this area, heads up!
Monte Vista Avenue near Baseline
North and South, on Monte Vista. Between Foothill Blvd. and Baseline. There is a motorcycle cop, just north of the Claremont Club. He is in a residential neighborhood. It’s on the west side of the street. He sits back far enough, that you don’t see him until you’re there. It’s a hill, so he gets you going downhill too fast, or uphill climbing. I see him weekly pulling someone over.
