Saw a motorcycle cop with a speed gun pointing West in the Storage Mart parking lot, behind the shrubbery.
He will mark and ID the offender, pass on the info, and another unit will peruse the offender.
Clayton Road near Peacock Creek Drive
Proceeding northwest (towards downtown Clayton) on Clayton Road, the cops like to hide in the parking lot for the Black Diamond Trailhead and catch speeders coming down the hill. The posted limit is 35mph. They also like to hide in the parking lot of Diablo View Middle School.
Kirker Pass Road near Between Clayton Rd and Concord Blvd
The east-bound lanes of Kirker Pass (going toward Pittsburg) are in the City of Clayton, between Clayton Rd and Concord Blvd. The police sit in the church parking lot and radar the traffic heading east. They will even pull over non-speeders late at night to check for DUI.
