Ygnacio valley road 2 traps

Concord, CaliforniaSep 22, 20100 Comments

As a resident off ygnacio valley road there are a couple traps to know about. Sometimes at night they actually park in the gravel drainage ditch to hide. Another motorcycle sits under a tree at the entrance to the Crystal Ranch subdivision. The other one sits at the bottom of Ygnacio heading towards pittsburg right before Aberta and the "Circle K" gas station. He always sits under the tree in the shade. If he ever writes me a ticket, Mark my words you will notice that both of those trees will be cut down and left in the street. Too hot in motorcycle gear if theres no shade-hehehe

Just before the Willow Pass Rd. Exit, the CHP usually sets up with one officer with a radar gun on the side of the road with a few of his buddies waiting for you down the road.

Bates Avenue near Forni Drive

Concord, CaliforniaOct 17, 20070 Comments

Motorcycle police sit in the driveway across from Forni Drive, zapping speeders heading east bound on Bates Ave. Mainly afternoon/evening people leaving the refineries and businesses in the area. I work at Aramark on Forni Drive and watch the cop ticket people. They park their motorcycle where all you see of them is their front tire, windshield, head and radar gun sticking out from behind the bushes. At least 3 tickets every 20 minutes.
