Concord, California Speed Traps

All types of cops patrol regularly up and down Kirker Pass, especially going down the hill going from Concord to Pittsburg. Being such a steep hill people feel the need to speed. It has extremely high enforcement.

Motorcycle officer sits on southbound direction of Kirker Pass (decent into Concord from Pittsburg) directly across from Chronicle Pavillion parking lot. Speed limit is 55, although decent speeds typically run higher.

Officer sits under overpass in shadows. Motorcycle is concealed by large support pillars, but his vision and radar are unobstructed from his angle. Also beware those exiting interstate 680 northbound onto Willow Pass Road and turning right away from Sun Valley Mall. There is no turn on red, and same officer will pull you over.
