Cupertino, California Speed Traps
Miller Avenue between Bollinger & Stevens Creek Blvd
Famous Santa Clara County Sheriff on motorcycle makes his random rounds, first time seeing him here but he does know the area well, also see him at the Stevens Creek & Tantau light in afternoons to nab those eastbound ‘red-light’ runners between 2-5. Cupertino is not a city to speed or run red lights/stop signs in.
Homestead between Lawrence Exp and Wolfe
Multiple cops on motorcycles hide on ramps of commerical buildings on south side of road behind the trees. Usually they are after the westbound traffic coming from Lawrence. In this case, they are most likely hiding at the ramp for Kaiser or IBM. If they are catching the eastbound traffic, they would be at the first exit ramp of HP. There are photo radars at the Wolfe and Homestead intersection also.
NB Wolfe between 280 and Stevens Creek
Cop on motorcycle hides under the bridge on the mall exit next to the bus stop. On a sunny day, it can be hard to see the cop in the shade. But if you see cones set up on one of the lanes for no good reason, he is probably there.
McClellan Rd.
On the right side on McClellan in between stelling and DeAnza Blvd.
Tantau NorthBound Before Stevens Creek
An officer will ususally be parked across the street from the Coffee Bean Coffee Shop, behind bushes. Almost always with Radar! Careful, I just got my car impounded because of this one!
