Orange Avenue near Cypress City College

Motorcycle officer can often be found lurking in one of the apartment house driveways near Cypress CC during daylight hours. The posted speed is 35 mph but the prevailing speed is usually much higher. This area gets worked like a garden patch – the combination of a wide street and (usually) light traffic is just too tempting!

Grindlay Street near Orange Avenue

The infamous Officer XX patrols this street REGULARLY in the morning as parents drop off their kids. Always located in the business complex across the street from Oxford High, the man has no mercy. He will give you a ticket for having kids get out of the car in red lanes. Sometimes, the reasons are unclear to bystanders…but he’s stationed here religiously. He gets parents everyday…I don’t understand why people haven’t learned yet.

There’s usually a motorcycle cop hidden behind the concrete wall immediately after you pass the community center (if you’re driving towards Valley View from Walker). People often speed on Orange Avenue and the cop who camps out here often gets lucky. Watch your speed by this community center and you’ll be fine

Lincoln Avenue near Denni Street

Cypress, CaliforniaOct 04, 20070 Comments

Driving west on Lincoln, after Denni, motorcycle cop sits at the county line west of Forest lawn. Cannot be seen until you are on the signals at Bloomfield. The limit between Denni and Bloomfield is 40. Most traffic does 50 or more.Because he is sat high, you need to slow down before Denni, all the way through to Bloomfield. Present most work mornings after 7am.
