Dublin, California Speed Traps

Use a good deal of caution on Amador Valley Blvd between Dougherty Rd and Village Pkwy. The speed limit is 25 and this area experiences high levels of enforcement, generally by the local police on motercycles behind cars parked in the street.

Be on the lookout while on Dougherty Road between Park Sierra and Amador Valley Blvd; the local police will often be running speed traps from one of the side streets (mostly on the west side, but sometimes by the Camp Parks gate)

A motorcycle unit will perch behind shubbery where you cannot see until your speed is already recorded. The unit will use various cross-streets on Dublin Boulevard in close proximity to the police station.

When traveling South on Dougherty Road, before you get to Dublin Blvd, you will find a motorcycle cop with K or Ka radar parked in Dublin Storage Plaza area. He uses instant on so be alert every morning!

It is a 25 zone, they park in between parked cars on the street with the radar pointing back. It is very hard to see them, so just do 25-30 and be safe. Good luck!
