Motorcycle cop(s) sit in parking lot of retirement apartments, behind trees and bushes. Can be hard to spot until it’s too late. Used to see them weekly, now less often.
E. Washington Avenue near N. Citrus Avenue
Motorcycle cop sits at Weatherby Ave. (and you can’t see her until you pass her) catching all eastbound speeders (and sometimes westbound speeders). She caught me and it seems like everyday she has someone else.
W. El Norte Parkway near Nordahl Road
Police on motorcycle parked in a driveway, holds radar gun to catch drivers going over the posted 45 mph. Usually aiming at traffic headed towards the freeway.
Bear Valley Parkway near Mary Lane
MC running radar in the median mostly on the southbound traffic.
Interstate 15 near El Norte Parkway
Motorcycle cop sits at the top of the Northbound I-15 on ramp at El Norte Parkway. He’s hidden behind shrubbery and is gunning people as they drive by. You can’t see him until after you drive by him and happen to be looking in your rearview mirror. I only saw him because I was driving up the on ramp to get on the freeway.
