Fairfax, California Speed Traps
Corner of 6th and Fairfax
I travel this intersection every morning on my way to work. Twice a week I will see officers parked in a lot on 6th catching westbound drivers who either speed or run the red light crossing Fairfax
Sir Francis Drake & Oak Tree Ln
Heading west out of town, at the pedestrian crossing before the traffic light at SFD & Oak Manor & the 711, the police car parks in side street (Oak Tree Lane) on right, using radar, instant on.12/6/10. Usually in the 8 to 9 am weekdays.
Sir Francis Drake at Manor Park
At the pedestrian crossing before the traffic light at SFD & Manor.
Police car parks in side street on right using radar, instant on.12/6/10
Bolinas Road near Park Road
There is always a cop parked on Bolinas Road right before it meets Park Road. This is because the police station is situated nearby, and the car is usually empty. This has easily tricked people many times, though, because every once in a while there will be an on-duty cop there waiting to catch people at the stop sign. Most don’t bother stopping there, but remember to from now on.
