There are cops (motorcycles) camp at the park lot along the way waiting for people travel over the speed limit (limit at 40, but people usually go higher due to the downhill grade of the road).

North bound I880 at Warren Ave

CHP sits on Northbound Onramp which is elevated and the railing of the Onramp helps hide their car. This spot provides them a great spot to use their radar… They seem to be there everyday.

Paseo Padre, southbound from Upland Way to Durham Blvd

Police set up trap at bottom of hill where Paseo Padre curves towards Durham Blvd.

Dumbarton Bridge SR-84 Westbound

Fremont, CaliforniaApr 23, 20100 Comments

From the toll plaza to the bridge. Limit is 55, looks like it should be 65. CHP hides on right shoulder with radar/lasar gun, weekday evenings and sometimes weekend mornings. The guns can see farther than the human eye, and they only show the highest momentary speed, so if you correct yourself, it doesn’t matter. Too late.
