State Highway 99 near Manning Avenue
Warning! CHP commercial speed enforcement is Moderate to heavy on Highway 99 between Fresno and Selma, CA. CHP in unmarked cruisers (usually white ones)or B/W pickups (CHP commercial units) regularly patrol this stretch of highway any time of day or night. Aircraft patrol is offen used during special heavy enforcement periods along with 3-5 CHP ground units (usually parked on the Manning Ave. overpass). Also, be advised that the CHP traffic enforcement teams often change locations during the day. Normally, they will move to one of the following locations (they are probably others but these are the only locations that I know of: Highway 99 between Avenue 12 and Madera, I-5 between the highway 198 overpass and Kettleman City, I-5 around the Santa Nella area.
