MC sits on side street which is heavily lined with trees. The stop sign is at Valentine (I believe) however, the stop “bar” is pretty much non-existent. Therefore, the officer stops you for “running the stop sign”. His best times to ticket people is before sun-up when you actually cannot see the worn and faded stop bar (white line) that you are supposed to stop behind and is supposed to be in line with the stop sign.

MC sits on the South side of the street, there is a large mound of dirt with grass growing on it. The officer sits just east of the hill, if you are looking for him you can barely see his helmet and front wheel…but if you are just cruising along trying to get to where you are going, he will get you if you are exceeding 50 MPH. I set my cruise at Bryan.

This has been mentioned on here in the past, but Figarden Loop (W. Bullard) is a frequent favorite target, as motorcycle cops can park and wait on side streets and wait for unsuspecting motorists coming around the Loop. I got stopped, the cop said I was doing 52mph in a 40mph zone, and this was ABSOLUTELY not the case! Watch yourself in this area (daylight hours).

The Cop sits in the middle of the road on Friant Ave. just as you pass the entrance of Copper River. He is there to get people who travel on Friant going and coming from Table Mountain or Millerton Lake. He is there at nights and usually at the end of the month. At night when its dark, by the time you see him its too late because from a distance you cant see him and have no chance. The speed limit is 55 so when you get close to the copper river country club entrance slow down they hide there all the time at night.
