I have been nailed twice at this location in the last 5 years (presumably by the same motorcyle cop). Beware, the speed limit here is only 35 mph…which has always puzzled me considering all similar surrounding streets are 40 mph+!
NW Ave. between Ashlan Ave. & Shaw Ave.
Police on side streets nailing mostly northbound traffic.
E. Shaw Ave. between N. 1st St. & N. Cedar Ave.
When you travel there you will notice most cars/trucks at 40mph. Why, you say! It is a well known trap. MC’s sit with “hair dryers” perched & ready to get you. There are several posts here for specific spots, but beware, they are all over the place at all times of day & night. They have a sub-station at N. Sixth St & Bulldog Lane just N of Shaw. Tag teams are most prevalent on the S side in the trees just E of Millbrook [about 9th St] before McDonald’s. Be safe!
