The speed on Nees Avenue drops to 40 mph only between First & Fresno streets. The road is a 2 lane (both directions) divided street with a frontage road adjacent, classified as an arterial roadway. The rest of the road in both directions 45 mph, and the local PD sit obscured on the frontage road waiting for motorist traveling at a Consistent speed to fall into the speed trap. There is no existing condition that differentiates this section of the road from the rest, just a good place to Generate Revenue.
