Irvine, California Speed Traps

People speed there all the time. They think it is the Indianapolis Speedway. Some do 85-90 mph.

Officer on Motorcycle sits in the "V" before the space in the island by the Middle School at Yale, trying to catch motorists coming up from the shopping center; especially around 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

during off-peak hours (i.e. Sunday morning), freeway is nice and open, but cops are catching drivers on a regular basis. just spotted one today hiding behind the guardrail underneath the Culver Dr. overpass. easy to miss if you’re in the left lanes.

Often two team unit(s). One motorcycle sitting in center divider as you head toward San Joaquin Hills road light from the 73 ramp. 2nd team on right side of Newport Coast road as you head toward 73fwy from San Joaquin Hills road. Sometimes 1 unit, often two units.
