Heading towards Jamestown. After Lover’s Leap Rock, There’s a series of dips and then there’s a wide sweeping curve. The Hwy Patrol sits there waiting. Got 83 in a 65 coming out of the curve, no break at all.

State Highway 120 near Rock Round Corral
Headed East toward Sonora, on Highway 120 just after the Yosemite turn off where 120/108 split, there is a hill with a passing lane. Just over the crest of the hill, the two lanes merge again. People passing slower traffic crest the hill, seeing the lanes are about to merge, speed up to complete their pass of the slower vehicle, only to find a CHP hiding off to the side of the highway, ready to write a ticket.

cop sits right at the Tuolumne County/Stanislaus county line on a blind corner. the road goes from a 65mph back to a 55mph 2 lane highway right before that so if you still haven’t slowed to 55mph expect a ticket.
