La Jolla, California Speed Traps
TOP OF CARDENO, NAUTILUS & LJ SCENIC INTERSECTION
Motorcycle cop hides in Jehovah’s Witness parking lot driveway. Cardeno side is poorly marked with no signage about left turn. The double lines leave little room for drivers moving straight across intersection. Cop tickets for either crossing lines or driving straight across intersection from left lane (which is not marked a left lane.) Also, another motorcycle cop hides in Ventana complex driveway ticketing drivers at the STOP sign.
Torrey Pines coming down the hill intersecting LJ Parkway
Motorcycle officers with radar pointed at downhill cars on Torrey Pines Road ~ count on it!!!
La Jolla Scenic South between Nautilus and La Jolla Mesa
Two motorcycle police ticketing in 25 mph area going south downhill on La Jolla Scenic South past Nautilus. Hidden between vehicles of in shaded streetside areas.
6800 Gennisie
This is a down hill drive coming down Gennisie. In La Jolla. The police are on the side at the bottom of the hill, You can,t see them. They are in a little side road, As you come down the hill, they radar the front of your car, They were ticketing drivers, around 10:00 AM. I think California Cities should have speed signs every I0 miles, So Motorests can view the signs To know if they are going over the speed limit, I think we need to get a Ballot in California to make Speed Traps illegal. It has been done in other states, Because the suspecting motorest has no warning, and it is in trapment. Especially if the motorest does not pass the Police, giving the tickets.
Soledad Mtn. Road
Soledad Mtn Rd was closed for a year due to the Sink Hole and they recently reopened Soledad Mtn. Rd and so there are construction signs stating the speed limit at 25 mph and traffic fines will be doubled in the zone. There are 2 motorcycle cops with radar that sit there and ticket people going over 25 mph
