Lafayette, California Speed Traps
Oak hill road north of Mt Diablo Blvd
The police occasionally sit just off of Mt Diablo Blvd on Oak hill road going uphill. They are trying catch people who are unaware of how low the speed limit is on Oak Hill road. It does not seem to be a likely spot for a speed trap which is why the police have selected this spot.
El Nido Ranch Road
At the east end of El Nido Ranch Road. They hide around the downhill curve just inside the city limit. Clearly a setup as no one expects a speed trap where there is little traffic and no side streets.
