Laguna Beach, California Speed Traps

There is a dip in the South Coast Highway at Aliso Beach. It is easy to unintentionally exceed the posted 45 mph limit as you come down the hill in either direction. There is often a cop at the inland side to the highway catching speeders in either direction.

While driving south PCh when you come in to Laguna beach the motocycle cop sets @ the emeraldbay entrance Just when the 55 MPH drops to 45MPH also just before you get into downtown Laguna Beach the speed limt drops to 25MPh the motocycle cop sets in the garage parkinglot at the bottom of the hill Los Briesies motel

They sit right behind the GTE building and get you as you come down the hill in either direction.
