Golden Lantern Road near Sardina Road

If you are heading away from Dana Point going down Golden Lantern, right after you pass Bear Brand and Beacon Hill, Golden Lantern goes on a bit of a down slope. Right at the bottom of that, there is some sort of "city building" that looks like a little shack house off to the right hand side. Still to this day I’m not sure what that little building is for. But there are plenty of bushes right infront of it and cop cars sit behind those bushes and get people all the time speeding down the hill. I just got a speeding ticket there a few weeks ago. I got my ticket at night, the cop had his lights off. But I’ve driven by and seen tickets been given out during the day. So just be careful.

Pacific Island Drive near Crown Valley Parkway

It was a motorcycle cop on the left side of the road about halfway up the hill. The posted limit is 45 which is very slow considering how long and open this road is.

Highlands Road near Alicia Parkway

Laguna Niguel, CaliforniaSep 03, 20070 Comments

Usualy a motorcycle officer sits at the bottom of Highlands catching speeders coming down the hill to the intersection. I have many freinds including myself that have been stopped. When I was pulled over the officer was sitting in the left hand turn lane facing up the hill. He pointed at me as I came down the hill and motioned to pull over. It is very easy to speed coming down this steep hill.
