Lake Forest, California Speed Traps

Motorcycle officer hides in the driveway of mobile home park and uses a radar gun. Cars speed due to momentum of going downhill. Usually there every morning during rush hour.

Coming down Regency right after you come down the soccer field, there is a motorcycle cop waiting on your right hand side hidden in a turn way that leads to a Carl�s Junior. Just be careful if you are making a left turn from Osterman and want to beat a slow moving car from Regency. That�s how I got nailed. I got caught by the same motorcycle cop lady twice now, once here and the other is on Lake Forest and Muirlands.

Motor units (usually 2 will sit at intersection together) park at Muirlands at Los Alisos. They do radar of westbound coming vehicles coming down from the train underpass (hill) aproaching intersection. Speed limit is posted 45 but vehicles that descend from the hill are alomst always a good 10-15 miles over the speed limit. Not to mention that the Los Alisos Middle School is at that intersection. Peak traffic times are definitely morning but it’s pretty busy all day.

Usually either a motorcycle or police car sitting in the driveway of the church on Trabuco between Paseo Tranquilo and Paseo Sombra (between lake forest and bake). Hard to see coming from Bake, and you have a hard time coming from Lake Forest direction because of the hill in the road (you gain speed).

Cops sit at Carls Jr. waiting for people not to stop on red turn arrow. Lane is for freeway only, they will get YOU!
