Lakeside, California Speed Traps

Officer sits on right side of street between Wildcat Canyon and Hwy 67 near the Circle K, by the time you see him its too late to slow down. This street is easy to forget how fast you are going the posted is 35 mph. Officer claimed to be looking for Drunks from Barona Casino, but it is 10am in the morning on a Saturday? No test for alcohol is given but they are sure quick to write a speeding ticket!

Southbound 67 at the bottom of what is known as Slaughterhouse grade, near the rock/gravel pits. Officer sits hidden on right shoulder near trees just after intersection at bottom of grade.

Southbound 67 at the bottom of the hill. The officer parks on the far right behind the bushes. Don’t wait till you see him to slow, it’ll be to late. It’s very easy to exceed the posted 55 on this steep grade..
