Livermore, California Speed Traps
Jack London Boulevard South Of Livermore Airport
Sometimes there is a Livermore Police Vehicle with an Officer and a speed gun perched behind the trees at the entry to the Limousine business before the curve going north to the Discount Outlets on El Charro.
los positas on the safeway store side coming from vasco road
when you come down los positas toward first street on the right hand side before you make that left into the safeway parking lot.
Altamont Pass road
Came around a blind turn in a group of 5-7 cars, 2 of us pulled over and both got tickets for about 73 in a 55(flow of traffic could be argued)
Patterson Pass ~ 1.5 miles East of Greenville rd
A lot of commuters use this as an alternate to 580 in the mornings. Alameda County Sheriff hides out in two spots. 1) 1.5 mi east of Greenville to catch people crossing the double yellow (cutting corner) and they hang out at the power substation to catch people at the Greenville stop sign.
Tesla Road at Alameda County line
This is a commute road from I-580 into the back side of Livermore. It is Corral Hollow road at 580, then changes to Tesla Road by the Carnegie SVRA. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 as you enter Alameda County heading west, but there appears to be no road changes that warrant the speed limit change. The police sit around the bend in the road during early mornings and afternoons (commute times) and pull commuters over in groups. Always reduce your speed to around 50 when entering Alameda County on Tesla Road.
