Officers will sit in the driveway of businesses looking for speeders going Eastbound on Katella Ave.
Eastbound speed before Lexington is 35mph, after Lexington 40mph. Very common for all traffic to cruise at 45mph or more on this 3 lane wide Ave.

Radar of cars getting off the 605 freeway going East

For cars going north bound, motorcycle police officer parks either at Orangewood/Los Al Blvd or in the driveway of Good Prespeterian Church.

There is a cop just waiting always right across the street from Los Alamitos elementry. They sit there just shooting away with there radar guns.

There is a 35 MPH zone on Katella from East of the 605 Freeway to Walker St. The speed trap zone is about 2 miles in Los Alamitos. The other four cities on Katella have speed from 40 MPH to 45 MPH with the same conditions.
