Los Altos, California Speed Traps
Foothill Expressway driving north before Magdalena Ave.
Driving north on Foothill, just before reaching Magdalena Ave. is a Los Altos fire station at 765 Fremont Ave., which is a frontage road running parallel to Foothill. There is often a motorcycle cop sitting by the fire station which is out of view of traffic on Foothill because there is a fence and shrubbery between the two roads. After zapping cars with his radar gun, he then has the convenience to drive out of the frontage road using the fire-station-only exit onto Foothill Expressway.
