W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd & Nicolet Ave

Los Angeles, CaliforniaSep 25, 20090 Comments

1 block east of Western on MLK there is a cross walk with crossing guards.. There are several motorcycle cops that park on the side streets to watch for motorists who drive through the crosswalk. Even if a pedestrian is just about to put their foot on the curb and you drive through, they’re pulling you over! Be sure to wait for everyone to be completely out of the crosswalk, Including the crossing guard.

Sawtelle Blvd & Graham Pl

Another 35mph zone. This stretch runs parallel and has a trap zone similar to the Sepulveda stretch. Be careful going north or south on this stretch of Sawtelle. Cops usually hide on the side residential road after the highway.

S Sepulveda Blvd & San Diego Fwy

35mph zone. If you’re heading south on this stretch of Sepulveda, be sure to look out for a cop on a bike right after the freeway. He has pulled over a lot of cars.

35mph zone. Cop usually hide on side of Olympic heading West. Remember, this is a 4 lane road. It’s straight and tempting.

W Olympic Blvd & S Beverly Glen Blvd

While going East on Olympic Blvd right before S Beverly Glen Blvd there are cops hiding in a driveway. The speed limit is 35 but most people are always going 50 and up when there is no traffic. The cops have recently found this location (August 2009) and are giving tickets in the early morning. Be careful, I got my first ever ticket for speeding yesterday.
