Madera, California Speed Traps

From Highway 99 to Highway 41. At times, CHP will have 1 radar cop standing near the orchard by Children’s Hospital (at the west bound curve) clocking vehicles, and several marked units flagging ALL violators over a half mile down the road. They stack ’em up like firewood beside the road!! They also wait in the orchards near road 36.

Usually have one or two officers on the overpass facing the south bound traffic approaching them. They are standing outside their cars as they are parked down below out of sight, and 3 cars wait on the southbound onramp from Ave 17 to nail you.

I’ve seen it only once. Looks like Laser but could be KA
band radar. It’s located in a school zone (25MPH)off of Yosemite Av. ( West Bound )
several blocks long. Motorcycle officer hides out under a shade tree.

Anywhere along Schnoor Rd. off Howard Rd (Both Directions)
This is a residential area for several miles ( 25 MPH )

One patrolman stands on the bridge behind the fence with a handheld, then radios the swoopers on the onramp. There were 5 patrol cars involved in this sting.
