All of Moorpark is highly enforced. Do not speed or roll through stop signs anywhere in Moorpark.

This city uses it’s law enforcement as a fund raiser. You are not safe anywhere in Moorpark. The local police is the Sheriffs Dept. Like the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Motorcycle cop hides at liquor store behind trees or at the gas station and usually has sombody pulled over by the grill restaurant leaving town then turns around and ten minutes later has a new victim. do not go over the speed limit! on High Street they cut no slack!not even 5 miles over this is true…

A motorcycle cop will typical sit on the eastbound traffic side (going up the hill) of Tierra Rejada Rd. right at Southhampton. At the top of Tierra Rejada the road levels off allowing for a build-up of speed. The motorcycle cop will sit on the right, just out of view, until you make it to the top of the hill where they are more easily seen (and it’s too late). In the last year 9/06 – 9/07, I have seen them less. However, there seem to be periods of time where their presence in this location will pick up.

The Motorcycle PD like to sit at the 76 station or at the concrete company waiting for speeders coming from the college area towards downtown, right where the one lane turns into two, because people get upset from slow drivers and they want to pass quickly.
