Norco, California Speed Traps
Detroit St & Sierra Ave
Motorcop across from Ham and Eggs, looking down Sierra towards 6th St. Stops speeders coming down from Hamner to Detroit going over 25 mph. Also, copcar sits at same area but back a bit for stop sign runners. This cop speeds down Sierra and has almost rear-ended a truck backing out of it’s driveway and has almost run over the neighbors chickens. Our mailbox is across the street and we have to be very watchful.
Crestview Drive near Breeders Cup
Two motorcycle cops sit on Breeder’s Cup catching anyone going over 25 down Crestview. This is ridiculous considering the grade on that hill must be 10%! It’s nearly impossible to drive that slow going down such a steep hill without burning out your brakes.
Hamner Avenue near Second Street
Motorcycle cop hides behind Big O Tires sign
Sierra Avenue near Fifth Street
Officer waits behind the trees on the east side of the street, sometimes near Barnhardt Lane or Mulberry Lane. I live near there and see him all the time. Speed limit is 25 mph, so be careful.
Sierra Avenue near Rancho Lane
Motor Officer sits on Rancho or on a dirt road across from Rancho and watches traffic on Sierra going in both directions.
