Norwalk, California Speed Traps
Excelsior Drive near Elmcroft Avenue
Motorcycle Cops hide behind tall shrubs along the north part of Excelsior past Elmcroft (going towards Studebaker). You can’t see them if you are going East, gotta look hard to see them coming West, especially in the afternoon when the sun is going down. I usually see them in the afternoon, especially now that school has started up again.
Norwalk Boulevard near Lakeland Avenue
I see cops on motorcycles checking for speeders on Norwalk Blvd between Crewe St and Lakeland Ave – both directions. Mostly in the morning, but I’ve seen them there around lunch time too.
Alondra ave between Norwalk Blvd and Studebaker
Just east of I-605 on Alondra Ave the speed limit drops from 45 to 35 after Studebaker Rd and stays at 35 for about 2 miles until Norwalk Blvd. Anywhere in that strecth of Alondra between Studebaker and Norwalk, police can be sitting with rader/laser guns in at least 4 different locations. 2 locations for eastbound drivers and 2 locations for westbound drivers. I see an average of 3 cops a week ant any one of those locations anytime during the day.
