Novato High students need to pay particular attention to and from school from Indian Valley Rd to Tamalpais Ave.

CHP closely monitors northbound AM traffic from Marinwood north to the Novato narrows. CHP motorcycle officers wait beneath the Marinwood overpass, stand by the soundwall north of Hamilton, and frequently at the narrows where the number of lanes drops from 3 to 2.

The trap is set in the parking lot behind Big O Tires. They will have their lights off.

Eastbound Hwy 37, just past Novato Creek (approximately one-half mile east of US 101, CHP will park on the right shoulder half hidden by a large bush and will catch cars coming off the peak of the Novato Creek bridge traveling in excess of the posted speed limit of 65 mph. Can be any time of the day or night, not usually during rush hour. May also park a little farther down at the short dirt road leading to the field south of Hwy 37.
