on College Blvd north of Mesa Dr, down steep hill

Oceanside, CaliforniaJun 21, 20140 Comments

traveling north on College, after you pass Mesa Dr, you start a long, fairly steep decent to Hwy 76. The motorcycle cops with their lasers/radar stand in plain sight just as you pass Chroma Dr. It’s really easy to hit 60 MPH without trying going down this road. The motorcycle cops are there much of the time. It really is a speed trap.

I5 north just before oceanside.

CHP sits on east side of interstate on downhill side

Highway 76 just as you enter Oceanside (w. of E. Vista Way)

Welcome to Oceanside! Now that 76 is two wide open lanes each way it’s easy pickings for the Oceanside motor cops. Almost ALWAYS two are sitting just inside Oceanside city limits to welcome you to our town! The highway is now so nice that you drive it like a freeway and find yourself at 65 or 70 on a very, very safe highway (with full concrete divider).

Collage and Oceanside Blvd.

Right after Oceanside Blvd. speed goes from 50 to 40. They hide in between cars and the shade. They are there mostly on weekends and they will stay there for hours.

On Brooks near Maxson.
