Temple Heights Road near North Street

Oceanside, CaliforniaDec 02, 20060 Comments

Almost every Sunday morning from 0700-1000 an Oceanside cruiser sits on Temple Heights waiting for people to make ‘rolling stops’ at the 3-way stop sign at North. I’s all visual, no need for RADAR.

Traffic is very light and it is not a safety issue. Mostly people heading to a church nearby. Seems like just a chance for the officer to write some easy tickets.

Cruiser would do more good up on North at Olive (1.5 miles away) where there was a fatal wreck due to excessive speed within the month.
