The entire city of Orange is a speed trap

Orange, CaliforniaMar 05, 20101 Comments

Orange has been cited by the courts in the past as a speed trap and had to refund tickets. Just look as the geography of the city and it’s size you will see that there isn’t an area that doesn’t have a speed trap. The city changes speed limits on streets from say 50 to 35 and always had a cop sitting right where the speed changes

Palm Avenue near California or Magnolia Street

Motor officers (usually 2) sit in the shade on either California St. or Palm St…..There is a big hedge on palm that they sit behind and use radar catching drivers going in both directions…..this stretch of Palm Ave between Tustin Ave and Cambridge St. is long, straight, flat and newly paved which makes it easy to go fast……they will hit this road for about a week and then will leave it alone for 2-3 weeks……
